Pair of Vintage Brass Candleholders

£45

The earliest candlestick discovered is a clay candleholder which dates back to the fourth century BC, and it's believed that the candle itself was created as early as 3000BC by the Ancient Egyptians, who used beeswax to illuminate their way in the dark.

During the 17th century, designs of candleholders were predominantly silver and very heavy. Later, candleholders moved into other materials that became popular across classes, including the solid brass material.

We've handpicked a pair of brass candleholders for these cold winter nights, upcoming get togethers and reading corners!
